A main convoy leader has been released from jail on several conditions.
They include that Tamara Lich must immediately leave Ottawa, refrain from using social media, and also to have no contact with certain co-organizers.
This was a decision that came from a second judge after an appeal, as the first one on her case wasn’t convinced she would leave the nation’s capital or stop her counselling for more protests.
Lich spent 18 days in custody on charges of counselling to commit mischief.
One of the other main leaders of the occupiers, Pat King, still remains in custody in the nations capital.
