Another Mill Closure

Another Northern Ontario Mill is closing.
The Buchanen Northern Hardwoods-Birch Sawmill, just outside of
Thunder Bay, is shutting down, putting 50-people out of work.
The Mill cuts small birch logs into larger boards, which are
assembled into pallet elsewhere.
High wood and power costs and a declining market are being blamed for
the closure.
