Another Nuisance Bear

Thunder Bay police officers had to shoot an angry bear 5 times with a
shotgun after a tranquilizer dart failed to subdue the beast.
The 350-pound bear was rifling through garbage in a resident’s backyard
when a conservation officer tried to sedate it with the tranquilizer.
That only got the bear angry.
It began jumping fences into adjacent yards while curious
neighbours watched.
It took four more shots to kill the animal.
