Local Police are warning of more telephone fraud.
There are reports of people receiving a call from someone claiming to be a Canada Immigration Agent, advising a warrant has been issued for an arrest.
While on the phone, another call reportedly comes in.
Call display shows an 807 number, with the caller identifying himself as police, saying an arrest will be made if the money isn’t paid.
In both cases, banking information is requested.
Police remind you to never give out personal information over the phone and to hang up and immediately call them.
