The Ministry of Natural Resources is keeping a close eye on local
forest and soil conditions as April Fools Day nears.
Sunday, April First, marks the official start of the fire season.
Information Officer Debbie McLean says some spring rain is helping
their cause but notes its still dry in most parts of the Region.
