A new contract for land ambulance workers and clerical staff in the region is now in the hands of an arbitrator.
The Kenora District Services Board and the union representing employees pleaded their cases during 2 days of deliberations this week.
KDSB CAO Sten Lif says the arbitrator has not indicated when a decision may come down.
Paramedics have without a contract since September 2001 with wages still the main stumbling point.
