Unionized health care workers with the Northwest Community Care Access Centre will be getting a pay raise.
An arbitrator has ruled members of the Ontario Nurses Association with CCAC’s in the region will receive a 1.4% increase, retroactive to last April, and 3.4% more in the second year of the deal.
The second year increase is to help bring the salaries in line with those in southern Ontario.
ONA members across the province staged a 17-day strike earlier this year before agreeing to arbitration.
