Archie Alto

In loving memory of Archie Alto, who passed away on December 21st, 2013 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.

He is survived by nephews; Roger Bigras, Llyod Ayatte, nieces: Betty Napish, Barbara Pitchenese, Melvina Pitchenese, Claudett Hewson, Sharon Nolet, Lorna Currie, Louise Kippert, Shirley Desaulnier, Linda Wickman, and Theresa Bigras, and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

He was predeceased by Bridgette Robichaud, his sisters; Marguerite Bright, Jean Pitchenese, and Siamie Bigres, and brothers: Stanley, John, and his parents John Sr. and Maggie and nephews; James Pitchenese, Wayne Pitchenese, Bob Bright, Jack Alto and niece Christina McIvor.

Archie worked several years with his brothers and sisters on their father’s farm in Wabigoon and he also worked in their father’s logging camp in Dyment.

Archie’s interests were blueberry picking, storytelling, visiting friends, doing chores, helping friends, fixing everything and going to an occasional bingo.

Archie was a respectful and caring person, and also had a great sense of humour. He will be missed by everyone, especially by friends; Charlene, Harriet, Stanley, May, Paul and Judy.

Visitation will be on Thursday December 26th from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on December 28th, 2013 at the Wabigoon First Nation Community Hall.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 28th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
at the Wabigoon First Nation Community Hall with Elder Robert Kelly officiating.

Interment will be in the Wabigoon Cemetery.
