Dryden High School
A great win for the Dryden Eagles Football team this past Friday as the Eagles closed out the regular season at home with a dominating 47-7 victory over John Taylor of Manitoba! Congrats Eagles and good luck in the playoffs!!
Coming up on Friday, October 24th the Eagle Girls Hockey team will host the Red Lake Rams in an exhibition match, 6:30 at the Dryden Memorial Arena. Watch the girls play and help kids in need! Bring a pair of new mittens to donate in support of Ella Lynn’s mitt drive for local kids. Monetary donations will also be accepted to purchase new mittens.
Sioux North High School
Monday, October 20th there are no classes today at Sioux North as it is a P.D. Day!
Coming up on Tuesday, October 21st Sioux North teams are away for court sports action in Fort Frances. Good luck Warriors!!
On Wednesday, October 22nd there will be a grad meeting from 12:45 to 1:15 in the cafetorium.
Court sports action returns to Sioux North on Thursday the 23rd. The Warriors will host Beaver Brae. There will be a pep rally during period 2.
On Friday, October 24th there will be a Halloween Bake Sale at lunch!
Red Lake District High School
Monday, October 20th is a P.D. for students attending R.L.D.H.S.
On Tuesday, October 21st the Red Lake Rams will host the Saints in basketball and volleyball action.
Don’t forget about the Frightful Film Night on Thursday, October 30th. There will be a Haunted House at 6:30, a movie will be shown starting at 7 and much more at Red Lake District High School.
Pelican Falls First Nations High School
There is court sports action coming up for the Pelican Falls Timberwolves! The Timberwolves will host Atikokan this Thursday, October 23rd and then the Timberwolves hit the road the following day to compete against Whitefish Bay on Friday, October 24th.
Also on Friday the 24th there will be shortened classes in the morning leading into a half P.D. Day in the afternoon with midterm reports being issued ahead of Parent Teacher interviews on October 29th from 4 to 6pm.
Ignace School
Hey all you Ignace Falcons! It’s a P.D. Day! No school for students today – Monday, October 20th.
Coming up on Tuesday, October 21st it’s court sports action! The Ignace Falcons host Atikokan.
Wednesday the 22nd wear your favourite jersey as it will be ‘Jersey Day’!
There is more court sports play coming up on Thursday the 23rd as the Falcons host Thomas Aquainas.
And on Friday the 24th it’s Falcon Shirt day to end the school week!
