Dryden High School

Eagle Girls Hockey this week: On Wednesday, December 3rd the Eagle Girls will host the Sioux North Warrior Girls…7 o’clock at the Dryden Memorial Arena. The Eagle boys are on home ice the same day at 4 o’clock. If you’re going to attend those games you’re invited to bring a non-perishable food item to support the Dryden Food Bank. Your name will goes into many draws to win gift certificates from local merchants. All of the gift certificates have been donated by the Eagles families!
Also a big shout-out to the Eagle Girls Hockey team for stepping up to collect food and monetary donations during last week’s Dryden Kinsmen Santa Calus Parade. The girls helped collect food donations from the community and helped spread some cheer. They collected 493lb of food and $75 cash that went to the Dryden Food Bank after the parade. Great job ladies!
Coming up on Tuesday, December 2nd at Dryden High School Library, OSSTF Education Workers are sponsoring ‘Pictures With Santa’ from 5 until 7. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item for donation to the Dryden Food Bank. Everyone is welcome!
2024=25 DHS Yearbooks have arrived. They can be picked up or purchased at the main office.
Four Directions Winter Feast will be happening on December the 11th from 5pm to 7pm in the high school cafeteria. Four Directions families are invited to celebrate the holiday season. Enjoy a warm meal, activities, door prizes and more.
Sioux North High School

Warrior boys and girls hockey teams are on the road today (Monday, December 1st). Sioux North will be on the ice in Kenora to face-off against the Thomas Aquinas Saints. Good luck Warriors!
A reminder that this is the last week for the canned food drive. If you have not brought in a donation to the school yet you are encouraged to do so soon if you are able.
Wednesday, December 3rd the Warrior boys and girls hockey teams are on the road again for competition against the Eagles in Dryden.
Thursday, December 4th it’s court sports action at home for the Warriors against Beaver Brae and a ‘build your own hot chocolate’ at lunch time.
And on Friday, December 5th the Warrior Senior Boys basketball team will travel to a tournament in Dryden.
Red Lake District High School

The Christmas Donation Drive is underway! Join Red Lake District High School in spreading Christmas Cheer by donating gently used toys, books, winter clothes and NEW hygiene products and socks. Donations accepted at the school.
Holiday Trivia will be held on Friday, December 5th. Drop-in at lunch in Room 220.
The ‘Great Holiday Hunt’ starts on Monday, December 8th and the Period 1 ‘Door Decorating’ Colouring & Drawing Contest also begins.
Pelican Falls First Nations High School

Court sports action this week has the Timberwolves hosting Atikokan on Tuesday, December 2nd and Thursday, December 4th versus Thomas Aquinas.
The next PD day for Pelican Falls students will be on December 19th. Christmas holidays begin on December 22nd.
