Area MP Still Pushing Pensions Bill

Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty’s private members bill on pensions will come to the House of Commons for a vote on May 26th.
Another round of debate was held this week, where Rafferty sought all party approval to move the proposed bill to the committee level.
Rafferty says Conservative MP’s appear to be wavering on their support, but is hopeful there will be enough backing from other parties to move it forward.
