A troubling report about the state of our health from the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
The area overseen by the Northwestern Health Unit had the highest number of residents considered obese or overweight and the highest percentage of residents with high blood pressure in all of Canada.
Smoking, drinking and diabetes rates are also higher then most in our country.
The report indicates some disturbing trends, such as an increase in the number of young women who are considered at a high risk of heart disease.
