Arrest Made In Thunder Bay Homicide Case

A first degree murder charge has been laid against a 14-year-old girl in relation to the homicide of Kayleigh Ivall.

Thunder Bay Police say the accused appeared in bail court Tuesday morning after the arrest was made Monday afternoon.

She remains in custody with another court appearance Thursday.

The body of 14-year-old Kayleigh Ivall was found in the Current River area on April 27th, after being reported missing the day before.

An autopsy has been done in Toronto, but details haven’t been released.

The name of the accused can’t be released.
