Arrests Made In Tainted Drug Community In KI First Nation

Charges have been laid after Provincial Police issued a public safety warning about tainted drugs in Big Trout Lake First Nation.

The notice about a possible supply of laced cocaine was issued March 14, following an overdose.

An investigation has resulted in two arrests and the seizure of illegal drugs and cash.

OPP say 27 year old Fabian Petiquan and 47 year old Jason Howard Cutfeet both face trafficking charges.

Cutfeet also faces one count of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a probation order.
