Aspenware Responds to News Report

Aspenware says it has no plans on withdrawing from expansion in Northwestern Ontario.
The announcement follows a report last week from Dryden Mayor Craig Nuttall that the project has been put on the back-burner.
President Terry Bigsby says their Generation 2 project in Vernon, to keep costs down and production capacity up, remains their first priority.
He notes local expansion can’t occur until the production process is proven at the B.C. facility.
Bigsby says this area remains a perfect location for future expansion.
He says that Aspenware has been in high-level discussions with the Ontario Government to secure a Provincial loan guarantee and a wood supply.
Bigsby notes they are pleased with the reception they have received from the Province and there willingness to assist in the long-term debt needed to build a production facility in Northwestern Ontario.
Aspenware announced in August 2009 that it planned to construct a 50,000 square foot wooden cutlery manufacturing plant in Dryden.
