A 44 year old man faces assault charges following an incident in downtown Kenora.
On Friday afternoon around 5:00, the OPP and Northwest EMS were called to Chipman street.
A person was treated for minor injuries and transferred to the hospital.
A short time later, the accused was located in the area and was arrested.
He’s been charged with assault and will appear in Kenora Court on Tuesday for a bail hearing.
