Assaults On Police Officers

Sioux Lookout OPP say five people have been charged with assaulting police officers over the past 10 days.
Police say a suspect dragged an officer to the ground and bit him on the thigh.
A man also kicked an officer in the throat as a woman tried to punch another officer.
While at the police detachment, a woman removed her pants and whipped them at an officer, striking him in the head.
Finally, a woman attempted to hit an officer as she was being arrested.
None of the officers were seriously hurt in the incidents.
