Associate Medical Health Officer Encourages Vaccination

A top Ontario public health officer is urging people to talk to their family doctor if they’re worried about having their kids vaccinated against measles.
Associate Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Robin Williams wants doctors to drill down and find out why some parents are concerned because measles can be very serious.
Williams insists the vaccine is safe and effective.
There have been eighteen cases of measles in Ontario this year, none in northwestern Ontario.
