Atikokan Area Supporting Pikangikum

There’s been an overwhelming response to Rainy-River Family and Child Services call for donations for those in need in Pikangikum.
Jacquee Lorzell estimates nearly 7,000 pounds worth of children’s clothing and food items have been received.
Lorzell says they’re now looking to transport the items to the remote Northern community by mid-January.
Staff and Students at Atikokan High School and North Star Community School were also instrumental in the campaign.
