Atikokan’s Sno-ho Snowmobile Club is $200 lighter.
The group has been fined for bulldozing a trail without a work permit.
The MNR says the path led to a sensitive lake with a fragile trout population.
Along with the work, the club also put markers on a 3km stretch of the trail.
