Atikokan finally gets good news

Finally some good news for Atikokan.
The Provincial Government will spend $4 million on a Bio-Fuel research centre in the town which should mean a new lease on life for the Generation Station.
Mayor Dennis Brown says the news was buried deep in the Ontario Budget presented Thursday at Queen’s Park.
While exact details still need to be worked out, Brown is thrilled & extended his thanks to everyone who had a part in lobbying to keep the plant going & viable.
