Life is slowly returning to normal in the Atikokan area in the midst of severe flooding.
Emergency Measures Coordinator Garry MacKinnon says very little water pumping is required in the community at this point.
He says some roads are now opening up and inspections are taking place to reopen many businesses and organizations in town.
About 30 evacuated families are still not allowed to return home.
Private boats are not allowed in the flood zone and parents are being encouraged to keep their youngsters away from floodwaters.
Water levels are going down but with more rain expected in the days ahead, MacKinnon expects more problems could arise.
