Atikokan Hospital Deficit

The Atikokan General Hospital is facing a serious financial crunch.
Staff are reporting a $795,000 deficit this fiscal year but the Hospital will continue to maintain all the current services.
Officials blame the red ink on 4 years of under-funding from the Province.
Staff are in the process of drafting a report that will be presented to Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Bill Mauro.
