Atikokan Makes Recycling Decision

It appears a recycling partnership between Dryden and Atikokan is dead.
Atikokan Mayor Dennis Brown says the township has entered into an agreement with Thunder Bay based Recool Canada.
Brown says the final details are being worked out, but an agreement should be in place for the August 12th council meeting.
He says the township hopes to resume recycling service shortly after that time.
One option Atikokan was considering was partnering with Dryden.
Brown says the cost that was quoted by Recool was three times lower then what Dryden proposed.
Sioux Lookout and Kenora are also doing their own recycling since the demise of the Northwest Recycle Association.
