A 72 year old man is dead following a single vehicle crash on Highway 622, just 3.3. kilometres north of the Atikokan OPP Detachment.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene around 7:25 Wednesday night.
The driver has been identified as Larry Wayne Gashinski of Atikokan.
He was the only person in the vehicle.
Police are investigating the cause and a post mortem is scheduled for later today. (Thursday)
The highway was closed for roughly six hours as a result of the crash
