An Atikokan man has been fined $1,500 for numerous natural resource violations.
Marcel Huard pleaded guilty and was convicted for operating an aggregate pit without a permit, constructing a road without approval and removing trees without approval.
Court heard that Natural Resources Staff discovered the violations in the summer of 2008 while conducting site inspections.
Haurd is also ordered to rehabilitate the sites and bring them up to provincial standards.
