Atikokan Man Slapped With Hefty Fine

An Atikokan man has been fined $1,700 for unlawfully hunting deer.
Court heard that Michael Fogg shot a deer with a .22-calibre rifle in the Highland Lake area, even though he didn’t have a deer licence.
He’s been banned from hunting in Ontario for one year.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is reminding the public that rim-fire rifles can’t be used to hunt big-game animals.
