Atikokan residents will be updated Tuesday night on what the Town is doing in response to the planned closure of the coal-fired plant.
Mayor Dennis Brown says a number of initiatives are being looked at to
help deal with the expected fallout.

Brown says they are speaking with a group that is interested in
keeping the plant open by supplying peat.
The public meeting will be at held at the Atikokan Legion at 7:00.
