Atikokan To Replace Bridges

The Township of Atikokan plans to replace two bridges destroyed by flooding.
Mayor Dennis Brown says both a vehicular bridge and a pedestrian bridge spanning the Atikokan River are now in the design stages.
One was destroyed in 1996 and the other was swept away earlier this summer.
Brown adds both are important links for residents in the community.
