Atikokan Tribunal Delayed

An Environmental Tribunal scheduled to start this week has been delayed until December.
The Ministry of Environment ordered Atikokan to implement emergency flooding procedures earlier this year.
Mayor Dennis Brown says that included the pumping of sewage into the streets as a last resort, something the Town is not willing to do.
Brown says they are also trying to determine who will pay for upgrades to the Water and Sewage Treatment Plants.
