Atikokanites May Not Face Tax Increase

Residents of Atikokan will be happy to know they may not face a substantial municipal tax increase this year, if any at all.
Atikokan Mayor Dennis Brown says township council is doing everything it can to avoid an increase.
He adds that includes cutting back on almost one million dollars in requests.
Brown says council is now in the final stages of putting together its 2002 budget.
