Attawapiskat Evacuation

Most of the 900 residents of the remote first nation of Attawapiskat
have been evacuated from their community on James Bay.
The fear of flooding in the area sparked the evacuation, the second
airlift in the region this spring.
The evacuees have been flown to Thunder Bay, Kapuskasing,
Timmins, Hearst and Greenstone.
