Attawapiskat First Nation is demanding the Federal
Government build the community a new elementary school.
The former Liberal Government promised the First Nation
a new 30 million dollar facility, but the Conservatives
have failed to deliver.

The school has been closed for several years due to a
toxic fuel leak.
400 students are being housed in a series of portables
that aren’t expected to last much longer.
The Principal says the walls are peeling and cracking,
and the doors have shifted.
