Attempted Murder Suspect

A 32 year old Dryden man has been remanded to the District Jail in
Kenora on charges of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault & Breach of
Probation.
Tony Wassaykeesic was arrested Monday evening following an intense
search involding all available members of the Dryden Police Service along
with the OPP Emergency Response Team & K-9 unit.
A City woman is in Dryden Hospital in serious but stable condition
after suffering what police say were numerous stab wounds.
Wassaykeesic will appear in court again next Thursday in Dryden.
