Domtar and CKDR have teamed up to recognize local residents who are making a positive difference during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ‘Difference Makers’ campaign is underway.
Domtar Regional Manager of Public Affairs Bonny Skene says they will select one special individual or group each week, for the next eight weeks.
“From the very simplest act of kindness, to front-line workers, to someone in the community who is making a difference.”
Skene stresses there are a number of people who go above and beyond what is required to help keep our communities going.
Skene says they are now accepting nominations.
CKDR will profile a ‘Difference Maker’ every Friday and the selected individual or group will receive a voucher for a meal at a restaurant of their choice in Dryden.
