August Was Warm and Wet

It was a warm month of August in the City of Dryden.
CKDR Meteorologist Bill Laidlaw says the average temperature was 18.9-degrees last month, about a degree-and-a-half above normal.
However, it was also a wet month.
Laidlaw says Dryden saw 103.5-millimetres of rain, about one-and-a-quarter more than what we usually get.
He add this Summer has been a warm one, as Dryden is half-a-degree above normal levels.
For September, Laidlaw says we will return to normal temperatures, with little precipitation.
