A number of civilian and uniform police officers in Dryden will be honoured tonight.
Dryden Police Chief Rob Davis says they are holding their awards ceremony, which recognizes the efforts of long standing employees.
Davis notes that policing is a long career, so it’s a great opportunity to thank those people for their years of work.
In addition, Davis says they will also be recognizing three citizens who helped police with an incident last year.
Participants of the Citizen’s Police Academy will also graduate this evening after completing a 9-week course.
