Bachelor of Education Program Launched

A significant milestone will be marked in Sioux Lookout Friday thanks to
a partnership between Brock University and the Northern Nishnawbe Education
Council.
The Bachelor of Education Program office on Front Street will
officially open, launching a groundbreaking initiative in education.
Program Director Brian Hawker says the goal is to graduate culturally
appropriate teachers who will stay in the community.
22-teacher candidates from 24-communities began classes on October
22nd.
