The Fort Frances Junior Sabres exploded for 4-goals in the third period en route to a 6-2 win over the Dryden Ice Dogs Sunday at the Memorial Arena.
The game was tied 2-2 in the final frame when the Ice Dogs were victimized by a couple of bad bounces which the Sabres capitalized on.
Kevin Burton and Tristan Allain tallied for Dryden, while Sonny Albert made 33-saves in a losing cause.
The Ice Dogs fired 40-shots on Sabres Goalie Kyle Ruhl.
