Landon Pavlisin turned away 27-shots in his SIJHL debut Friday night as the Dryden GM Ice Dogs cruised to a 5-1 win over the English River Miners.
Joseph Santalucia and Jacen Bracko led the offence as they both had a goal and two assists.
Evan Walls, Trey Palermo and Luke Bellerose also found the back of the net.
Dryden GM fired 52-shots on Miners goalie Michael Lenko.
Stratton Pickett ruined Pavlisin’s shutout with a tip-in goal midway through the third period.
In other action, Sioux Lookout’s Shayne McKay scored his first SIJHL goal of the year as Thunder Bay crushed visiting Minnesota 8-2.
Thief River Falls downed Fort Frances 7-3.
