The Board representing St. John’s School in Red Lake continues to operate in the black.
The separate school board has approved its 2015/16 budget and it contains a surplus of about $122,000.
Manager of Financial Services Alison Smith says they are expecting a bit more money from the province this year, but adds enrolment is expected to drop slightly.
The Board is anticipating a drop of 66 students next school year.
Smith says there will be no teacher redundancies this summer, though notices have gone out to three education assistants.
The balanced budget comes in at just over $26-million.
