Ball Diamond Lighting Project Moving Forward

An American firm has been selected to supply the lighting equipment for the Sandy Beach Ball Diamonds.
The $189,000 bid from Techline Sports Lighting was the lowest out of 4-bids received.
Director of Public Works and Engineering Mike Louttit says they still have to tender out a contract for the installation of the lights before construction can begin.
Louttit says they may be able to start installing the light standards this year, if the weather holds up.
Construction of a Pavilion will begin next year.
