Balmertown Assault

Red Lake OPP were called to home on Dickenson Road in Balmertown earlier this week in connection with a domestic assault.
Police say when they arrived at the home they discovered there had been a fight between a husband and wife.
The 23-year-old husband was charged with assault with a weapon, mischief and possession of a controlled substance.
He was also in breach of a conditional sentence order.
Police say an assault charge is pending against the 23-year-old wife.
