Banking Initiative in Bearskin Lake First Nation

The Ontario Trillium Foundation and Northern Lights Credit Union have announced a groundbreaking project in the remote community of Bearskin Lake First Nation.
The partners hope to provide banking services on-site by establishing a branch office in the community.
Dryden based President Doug Robinson says it’s a perfect fit.
Robinson says they hope to expand across the Far North in the near future.
Robinson says they have been working with the Wasaya Group to carry out the initiative.
