With the warmer than normal weather it’s been hard to
complete most of the winter roads to first nations in
Northern Ontario.
The McGuinty Government announced last week 3.5 million
dollars for the construction of over 3-thousand kilometers
of winter roads.
Minister of Northern Development and Mines Rick
Bartolucci says he’s glad they were able to get the
funding out before it’s too late to create roads.

The seasonal roads will reach 31 communities that are
only accesible by air or water.
