Basement Fire At Ross Street Home Wednesday

No one was injured in a house fire in Dryden yesterday. (Wednesday)

Crews responded to the basement fire on Ross Street around 12:30 p.m.

Roughly 18 members of the Dryden Fire Service attended and conducted an offensive attack, and with high heat and heavy smoke were successful in locating and extinguishing the blaze in the downstairs area.

The homeowners were already out of the home.

It took about 3 hours to extinguish the fire.

The cause is still under investigation.
