George’s Taxi may log additional mileage this holiday season.
The Dryden Police Service plans to increase the number of RIDE programs from mid-November until New Years.
Chief Rob Davis says they have received funding to offer roughly 18-sessions.
Davis says officers will be conducting a good chunk of the RIDE programs from 10 at night until 2 in the morning, but stresses they will switch it up from time to time.
Police have laid 22-charges of impaired driving so far this year.
