Be Safe On Area Roadways As Winter Approaches

Bits of winter weather are prompting a reminder from Provincial Police in Northwestern Ontario.
Sergeant Andrew Simpson says motorists need to be careful and take extra precaution.
This includes switching your tires over from all-seasons to winter ones, and looking into putting studs on them.
Simpson also recommends giving yourself lots of time if you have to get somewhere.
This reminder follows an incident in the Sioux Lookout area where a crash happened due to ice on the road.
