Please be advised: A bear has been spotted in the area around Jeremiah McKay Kabayshewekamik (Hostel 1). All Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority clients and visitors are urged to use caution.
Safety Tips:
• Do not approach the bear. Stay calm and back away slowly.
• Travel in groups and avoid walking alone, especially at night.
• Do not leave food or garbage outside—secure it indoors or in bear-proof bins.
• If you see the bear again, report the sighting immediately to hostel staff or local authorities.
