Bear Wise Hotline Busy

Calls to the Bear Wise hotline are on the rise in Northwestern Ontario.
More then 840-calls have been made this Summer, well above average.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is cautioning berry pickers and
outdoor enthusiasts to use caution in the bush.
The latest bear attack in the Region was in June when an aggressive
bruin mauled a forestry technician in a remote area southwest of Kakabeka
Falls.
